Campground Owners of New York and Camp New York Launch Inaugural Best of Camp New York Awards

Malta, NY – July 31, 2025 – Campground Owners of New York (CONY), the leading association representing campgrounds and RV parks across New York state, is thrilled to announce the launch of its very first Best of Camp New York Awards. These awards will celebrate the unforgettable experiences and exceptional hospitality that make New York's independently owned and operated campgrounds a top choice for campers across the state.

The nomination window for the Best of Camp New York Awards opens August 1, 2025, and runs through Labor Day (September 1, 2025). During this time, campers are encouraged to nominate their favorite campgrounds in a variety of fun and exciting categories, including:

• Best Glamping Accommodations
• Best Family-Friendly Campground
• Best Seasonal Park
• ...and more!

• A digital emblem to showcase their award-winning status on websites, social media, and marketing materials
• A featured mention in a special advertisement in the 2026 Camp New York Campground & RV Park Travel Guide
• Inclusion in CONY’s official press release celebrating the winners

To help campgrounds rally support, CONY has created a promotional toolkit featuring flyers, social media graphics, and ready-to-use posts to keep campers excited and engaged throughout the nomination and voting process. “We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible experiences our member campgrounds create for campers each and every day,” said CONY CEO/President, Emily Simmons. “The Best of Camp New York Awards will showcase the dedication and creativity of our parks while allowing campers to appreciate and recognize their favorite destinations.”
