Jones Pond Campground Raises Over $8,000 for Local Organizations

Angelica, NY – Jones Pond Campground, a CONY Member campground, is proud to announce its successful fundraising efforts this season, raising a total of $8,229.82 for local organizations. The campground presented a check for $4,229.82 to the SPCA of Allegany County, as a result of various fundraising activities held throughout the park during the season. In addition, donations of $1,750 were given to the Fillmore Rescue Squad, and $2,250 to the Short Tract Volunteer Fire Department.

“Together with our wonderful seasonal and weekend campers, we take immense satisfaction in supporting our local community"; stated owner, Bryan Schaefer. 

The funds were raised through a series of engaging events and activities that not only provided entertainment for campers but also fostered a strong sense of community involvement. These donations are part of the campground's ongoing commitment to giving back to the community that supports them.
